Installation guide

Installation and uninstallation of the launcher is performed via an installer script. Just open the downloaded file, and the launcher will be installed automatically. If you encounter any installation issues, please report it on our Discord server. We try to respond as quickly as possible!

Data security

LiteLauncher never reads or stores your password. Like the official launcher, it signs-in with Microsoft account access tokens. The tokens are encrypted locally and bound to your device, so they cannot be directly decrypted on another computer.

LiteLauncher is built to be fast, simple and lightweight. It supports modern Minecraft versions, and compatibility work for many older versions, supports installation of modpacks in .mrpack format, and Ely.by skin system, while skipping unnecessary complexity. The project is developed transparently, and its code can be reviewed on GitHub.
